This week has been about getting on a regular housekeeping routine. I know that’s not exactly photo-related, but it is life-related. I instituted a laundry day and it has changed the way I look at housework, for the better. We could have folks show up right now unexpectedly the whole house is in great shape (aside from the garage, which is in flux as we take trips to Goodwill). This is a much-needed change for the better and we are all enjoying it.
Occasionally, I like to pull out the manual focus lenses. My favorite is a legacy lens from my parents– the Minolta 50mm MD Rokkor-X 1.4. It’s so much fun to slow down and really think about the shots I want, as well as choose precise focus points. This lens, aside from my Fuji 35mm f2, is my favorite of the bunch for fine art-type shots.
Happy Easter, everyone!
